Billington’s Demerara Sugar is an ingredient used to add sweetness to your baking. Rich and deep in colour, with a coarser crystal, it is the traditional sweetener for coffee to complement the wide range of organic coffees now available. With its pleasing flavour and crunchy texture, Unrefined Demerara cane sugar is perfect for topping fruit and natural yogurt and is excellent in cakes, biscuits and crumbles. Billington’s Unrefined Sugar products are unrefined so the sugars are very simply produced with the aim of locking in, rather than refining out the natural molasses of the sugar cane.
