In this demonstration we are adding lotus paste to this Nian Gao, so this recipe is about non traditional. Yam cake roll The roll cake is soft and the yam paste within is smooth and fragrant.

Lotus paste Nian Gao Participants will learn the right steaming method to obtain a smooth chewy texture with the nice aroma of lotus paste serve with freshly grated coconut. Yam cake roll Participants will learn the simple method in making a light sponge cake filled with lightly sweeten yam paste.
