CHRISTMAS BAKED DONUTS

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients A:

80g Baked King Dried Mixed Fruit

20g Dried Apricot, chopped

1 Tablespoon Grand Marnier (optional)

50g Unsalted Butter, soften

50g Caster Sugar

15g Honey

1 Egg, beaten

90ml Fresh Milk

150g Cake Flour

5g Corn Flour

¾ Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/8 Teaspoon of Salt

 

For Decoration:

50g Dark Chocolate, melted

50g White Chocolate, melted

Assorted Baked King Christmas Sprinkles

CHRISTMAS BAKED DONUTS

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease donut pan with melted butter or cooking spread and set aside.
  2.  Whisk sugar and honey together with soften butter till light and creamy.
  3.  Beat in egg till combined. Stir in half portion of flour mixtures with milk stir well and follow by remaining flours, dried fruit mixture and grand marnier.
  4. Spoon batter into piping bag, pipe it into prepared donut pan till ¾ full. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes or until a skewer inserted and comes out clean.
  5. Decorate with melt chocolate and Christmas sprinkles.

 *Note: Soaked dried mixed fruits with 2 Tablespoons of Rum or Grand Marnier overnight for better flavour.
